"How can I reconcile the fear of non-existence after death with the understanding that existence, by its nature, is eternal? I intellectually grasp that what exists cannot become non-existent, but my attachment to my current personality makes it difficult to release this fear. How can I align more fully with the knowingness of eternal existence?"

"I AM" seems to love to be and keeps finding ways to do so, so might as well go with the flow.
Pondering existential questions is thrilling for me but actually living life is more satisfying as it contains the idea of my pondering. Can't stop the drive of the spiral...it goes on within you and without you. It's the dreaming of that which contains the idea of you, so sit back and relax and enjoy the show.
Thank you, my Friend! Wonderful to be back 💜
You, my friend, are the Cosmic Tree and you are expressing yourself now, as the leaf..so, the leaf may fall, but you continue to exist, with no beginning and no end. Here's something that you may find helpful...right now, as you are reading this message, or doing any task, for that matter. Notice/sense, that there is "something" observing you doing this. A silent omnipresence, there watching..You are that...and are animating yourself through this avatar. Which is a projection of your consciousness.. I know you will find the answer within, just thought I'd add another perspective. Blessings to you.
Fear is believing that the thing you don't prefer is most likely. While it often appears as though fear is a result, with the exception of physical danger, it is a choice. Simply realizing this expanded definition of fear is enough to begin to always choose anew.
Remember beliefs are not something you "have," nor are they something that "have" you. You contain all beliefs and their opposites, and so it is truly more a matter which belief you express, through your actions, This is what actually causes the effects of an expressed belief in your life.
Therefore, the reconciliation that you are requesting can only come from you. When you think to yourself that there is 'non-existence after death,' you can think of this as a choice instead of an authoratative "voice" within you. When the choice presents itself, simply use it to align to your preferred choice, in this case, 'existence, by its nature, is eternal.'
Does this make sense?
