this is a post about an excitement of mine that explores the lucid dream of physical reality, which the collective of humanity has been more and more deeply as of late :).
ive been observing the divine imagination of others as they have been creating these liminal spaces. to define them in case you haven't heard of them, they are images depicting a location that evokes an alien feeling of nostalgia. a familiar place taken outside of its normal, waking world context. an abandoned mall, an old house from the past that is empty, familiar scenery that doesn't quite make sense and feels like it's out of a dream. theaters from the past, locations you can no longer go to, spaces in certain video games or animated movies, even.
liminal spaces are also often associated with deeply ambient, transportative music that feels like an energy stream. overall, they're designed to feel otherworldly, and explore the familiar physical reality in an otherworldly, dislocated context from time and space. they highlight the magic of our waking reality.
liminal spaces evoke something very powerful in people, including myself. some see them as terrifying, others see them as comforting, depending on the liminal space being mentioned. they usually represent the unknown, often untraveled dimensions that we only visit through art, sleep, or memory. like how nostalgia lifts a "mundane" event of the past into being seen as a truly magical experience. we start to see the reality of our dreaming Source consciousness and physical reflection blend.
i have come to feel that these are in a sense, kinds of holy spaces of the consciousness we are. ones that go beyond the human level of our normal awareness and tap into the literal emotional spaces, feelings, and pure, stripped down energies of our emotional-physical reality as one body. thinking of the physical reflection literally as being an artful, creative reflection of the emotional and soul body of the being who is experiencing a physical reality. we can see the art of these spaces and how they mean particular things to us, evoke particular feelings — sometimes with conscious connections to specific other things. other times they evoke feelings we have no identification or label for. again, imagine the abandoned house you used to live in. the dreamlike places that are so, soooo familiar... yet just out of reach of being fully defined.
they are such a beautiful, amazing vibration that is so specific, that feels like it is tapping into a certain layer of reality that is without humanity, that is just the existence of the vibration itself which has given life to that idea of a physical space from template level existence. it actually feels in some ways like it could be a representation of "template level reality".
this is something you could explore and think about for hours, years even, and we do whenever we visit this idea. we certainly can, at least. for it is an always accessible dimension of our being. the dreamlike reality. the pure consciousness reality. the "out of bounds" reality, as in going out of the bounds of the map in a video game and finding yourself in a yet undefined space, that still utilizes the raw assets of your more normally coherent reality.
though the vibration is very hard to pin down because it's so deep and specific, here are some pictures that most evoke this idea to me :).
and here are some playlists that i feel capture this dreamlike, nostalgic energy that highlights the other dimensions contained within our human experience!

The props and settings in which to be in. Scenes from the movie Inception come to mind... the real yet unreal blur as if gazing through almost closed eyes and the hearing of the echoey far off sounds that happen just as the sun has set. Twilight works best for this feel.
Yeah, I think it's a characteristic of the template level.
